Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some answers to the questions we receive the most about our services.
If we missed anything, please do not hesitate to contact us. We’ll be happy to help
What is included with a free remodeling estimate?
We want you to see what your remodel will look like before we start, so our free estimates include written scope of work and consultation. At times when necessary or requested by the customer (you), we provide a 3D visualization for visual reference as well!
Can you help me choose good bathroom fixtures and materials for a small bathroom remodeling budget?
We believe that everyone deserves a bathroom remodel. We can help you find the perfect fixtures and building materials for your budget-friendly project so it turns out beautifully, with no surprises at least on our end!
What is the best flooring for kitchens?
A kitchen is where many people spend a lot of their time cooking, eating and talking. The flooring needs to be durable enough for heavy household foot traffic as well as spills that happen every day in this busy space! A waterproof material such natural stone tile or ceramic tiles are best because they’re easy-to clean but most importantly these surfaces transmit little noise when walked on which makes them easier on your ears than harder surfaces like linoleum or terrazzo (which sometimes squeak).
Do you ever do remodeling work for real estate agents or brokerages?
Picture Perfect Remodeling has been providing remodeling services for over 30 years. We specialize in the repair and restoration of homes, from kitchen renovations to cosmetic repairs on bathrooms or floors! Most businesses depend on our work because we are so well-known throughout town as reliable contractors who take care of their customers’ needs like you would want them taken if it was your house being worked on by these experts.
Can you handle a kitchen remodeling project that involves changing the layout?
We can rearrange your kitchen in a way that will make it easier for you to work. We often find out the space just needs a few tweaks and we’re able do everything from installing new cabinets, moving appliances like refrigerators or dishwashers–whatever is necessary!
Is a permit necessary for every remodeling project?
Building permits are usually only required when there’s structural work involved in a remodeling project. However, the building codes vary by cities so whether or not your project involves permitting and inspections will depend on the local code requirements. As a general contractor with many years of Cumming remodeling experience, we know the local building codes. We’ll make sure that the permits and inspections are handled as they are required.

When is the best time to remodel my home?
The majority of homeowners in the United States book their home remodel during summer months. The peak season for this type of project is known as May through September, which gives you more than enough time to get your job done without worrying about cold winter weather and other factors affecting productivity
What Are Some Common Price Ranges for Your Kitchen Remodeling Projects?
A kitchen remodel can range from $30,000 to as much at over $65K. That is the lower end of what you might expect and it does not include appliances! For a higher-end project I would estimate in between 50k – 120 K otherwise there are also cheaper options with new cabinets flooring granite or quartz countertops fixtures etc..
What Are Some Common Price Ranges for Your Bathroom Remodeling Projects?
A typical bathroom remodel price range is between $18,000 and 35 thousand dollars but can require an even greater investment if there’s a lot of tile (walls or floor) and/or large showers. For example: lower end upgrades might include fiberglass tubs with vinyl floors; middle-range installations involve tiling the entire space over in ceramic tiles while higher end jobs come complete luxury finishes like glass enclosed rain shower enclosures that allow you to step right out onto your shower!
What Will Happen to My Home During the Process?
Demo teams are the best at what they do. They make your home a more livable place for you and those who come after, by removing all trace of an old space that is ready to be replaced with something better in every way imaginable!
Can I Request Changes After Work Has Begun?
Although it is true that some small changes may be quick and inexpensive, like adding an extra light or changing paint colors on the walls. The design process generally takes a lot of time in order avoid costly rework down the line so these kinds of surprises can happen without warning!
Yes – but there are always costs associated with redoing work (such as acquiring new materials) if major redesigns need to take place which weren’t expected during construction; this could lead into more problems than solutions at times since unexpected issues come up unexpectedly when you least expect them too.
